What is or are your favorite One Piece cover story(ies)?

Which one(s) is/are your least favorite(s)?

CP9's Independent Report is my all time favorite, it was entertaining, it gave some depth and humanize the CP9 agents, while also having some dramatic and epic moments with them saving a town from pirates but with the inhabitants being shocked by Rob Lucci's brutality and ruthless beating of the pirates, them beating the Marines sent after them and the promise of the CP9 going after Spandam and getting revenge on him gave me some big expectations (which sadly didn't happen).

My least favorite is Yamato's cover story, given how long and stalling it was, my distaste for Yamato and Wano, how she was still the same character who still hasn't grown beyond that stupid worship and "I am Oden" gimmick, and how little it added to One Piece story.

I only know about Yamato cover story.

The mere mention of her name keeps giving me flashbacks to when it was ongoing, I thought it would NEVER END.

I don't have faves but I like the Garp one out of nostalgia, the one where he gets attacked by Morgan while napping. Also Ace, CP9, Kuzan etc.

Tbh, I don't really remember cover stories that much, I need to re-read them in a proper order I guess. Even though personally I still like Yamato, I agree that her story was too long and not interesting enough, no character development or any noteworthy moments.

I sorta liked some moments of the post-WCI cover story about Germa, e.g., how it was tied to the plot with Pudding being kidnapped by BBP, and then appearing in actual manga chapter. Some of it was just silly fun (Pudding hitting Sanji's bros for being jerks), some of it was kinda tying the loose ends (what happened to Germa after SHP escaped), some of it was genuinely cool moments with BBP attacking with a perfect timing (BM and some of her muscles left, and some of the stronger hitters like Katakuri & Cracker still recovering after fighting Luffy). And then a perfect transition to a chapter, I wish we had more of these.

Eneru on the Moon still mogs every other cover story.
But i also like the Baroque Works one as it basically foreshadowed Impel Down many chapters before, and i also liked when, during Germa 66 Cover Story we got the reveal that Kuzan and Van Auger kidnapped Pudding, and in that same chapter we saw Pudding talking while she was kept prisoner in a Blackbeard's ship. That was cool
