The reason Xebec said the fruit only realizes its true potential when an ancient giant eats it probably has to do with this. Like I doubt a human eating this fruit would be as big as whatever Lokis Dragon form is.

Momo is much smaller than base Kaido, but his dragon form is the same as his. Same for others.

When you go full animal, you became the animal. So you have the same height as the original animal.

In hybrid instead your base height/mass counts.

These 2 contradict themselves.

Flame dragon is not that much bigger than regular dragon main increase comes in width not length because he is shrouding his already existing body with flames . Compare him with Onigashima horns and see that difference aint that much in pure length :
