Oda's writing has been subpar since Wano but this chapter is the definition of trash tier writing because:

You can revert someone back of DR if you inflict enough damage which basically "kills" them, alright.

Yet, we've seen MULTIPLE TIMES Xebec slayed his relatives and they clearly weren't TURNED BACK, they DIED.

Roger and Garp inflicted grave life-threatening injuries to Xebec but he was in a near dead-state while Dorry and Brogy just seem fine? How does that even work?

Is Oda literally shitting on everything which has nothing to do with Nika? Someone needs to take the pen off of his hands.

Where can I sign up to become a One Piece editor? Dudes are getting paid to do nothing

If anything garp and roger talk about how he would out last them .

Problem is the holy knights just have no hype. Oda made sure to specify shamrock as a special case. The rest may very well be weaker than Sommers…

Honestly at this point the damage is done lol. Id rather see more goofy ass powers and just have some decent fights.

I just go back to my initial disappointment that Elbaph turned out to be just a continuation of the WG plot from Egghead. That being said, Idk why Oda wrote Shamrock leaving. There was such good setup there with Shanks and a situated animosity between Shamrock and Loki.

Frankly my issue with all of this still stands that if Shamrock doesnt return, then this arc, like Egghead, seemingly resolves zero antagonists that matter lol. And thats scaring me with how limited chapters tend to be on coverage and how much Oda seems to be saving for his endgame.

Either this manga goes on for 15 more years or he sort of just fucks everyone over in screentime by the end

Nah, Itachi legitimately never took a single genuine L on panel except dying from cancer, and made half of the villains his bitches, some developing weird homicidal gay complexes because of it. He has insane versatility and would pull out new moves that barely even make sense. It's retarded to argue he beats Madara, but at least there's a logic to it beyond pure fanboyism

In comparison, Zoro is literally filler. Basically no character he fought before Wano was relevant to the world at all. You have to be genuinely delusional to think Zoro is going to fight DR Loki, especially in the chapter where Oda shits on DR as a concept for whatever reason.

SHP vs GK is obvious, people just don't want to admit it.

Well in Water Seven and Enies Lobby though,he has a lot of focus as he leaves the crew,gets in the sea train,creates the Sogeking identity,talks with Robin,gets friend with Oimo and Karse,burns the flag,receives the speech from Sanji about everyone having different skills in the crew,and finally hits Spandam to save Robin.
So in that arc he has focus from the beginning
