And no matter the topic, I have a strong dislike for people who made up disproven arguments for agenda, It's dishonest and stupid and should be called out for what it is.
So, saying the VCs are not canon when we had Oda himselef is saying the opposite, It's just that: idiocy and dishonesty.

Now having a thing that someone like Oden never managed to reach, that only Ryuma and Mihawk (and EoS Zoro) managed to reach, plus a fruit, Is considered an L lol.

They even took the blood off of his vines from the official coloring but left the black blade
Imo if it was Ryokugyu himself that forged it black he’d have ringed eyes like Mihawk. Power scaling wise idk how much of a W it’d be considered but still he’ll obviously be proficient at using it either way

Imo I believe the way to better master a strong blade requires sacrifice and giving up a part of yourself. With the more you give the more you get
Besides Zoro when he had Shusui we only know of 2 black blade wielders that are alive. Them being Aramaki aka Ryokugyu and Mihawk. Both of whom I believe gave a lot in order to get their blades. IMO Mihawk making the biggest sacrifice and giving up his own life. With the blade being a permanent part of him giving him the ringed eyes basically representing more than one soul in one body. Along with him becoming a permanent part of his blade and it becoming black in the process
In Ryokugyu’s case I actually don’t think it was he himself that made the blade black but a significant woman in his life. If he did I think he’d have the ringed eyes too but he clearly doesn’t. We coincidentally know he has a tragic past that involves suicide too. So pretty much I think she gave up her life making the blade black but eventually passed either then or down the life. Ryokugyu carrying the blade in honor of her
To a less degree I think Fujitora and even Zoro gave up a bit to their blades as well. Issho giving up both his eyes to his blade likely getting some type of power in exchange. It probably having to do with his absurd observation haki tho it being something else would be interesting too
I’ve said this in the past but I do believe Zoro fully mastered shusui during his timeskip training. Same way Luffy mastered g2/3 and Sanji DJ Zoro mastered his main power up before the timeskip. With shusui already being made black before it got to him by Ryuma + Zoro’s own relation to Ryuma making it a bit easier for him. Same way enma feeling like wado made it slightly easier. Zoro likely unknowingly giving up his eye in exchange for some power. Imo that being his new enhanced version of attacks post timeskip. With even him giving up the blade in exchange for another not being a loss of strength due to the power being a part of him now.
As for why Zoro didn’t realize…
Same reason he didn’t know he had conquerors and probably doesn’t even know how asura works
Zoro killing himself to forge a blade blade also fits my theory/prediction that same way Luffy has a type hito zoan like Chopper and Sanji is a type of cyborg like Franky then Zoro will become a type of undead man like Brook
I think there’s a shot he gets one this arc in order to catch up to Sanji potentially unlocking conquerors. If I were to guess which blade will turn black I would say sandai with it also potentially giving him better mastery of asura once done

As for Gigabull’s woman forging the blade, I highly doubt it but it’s possible. Introducing another party who forged the blade for him just introduces a third party for no reason really. Green Bull’s woman should exist to explain why he’s so radical/such an extremist, not why he has a black blade lol.
Personally I’m of the that that ringed eyes just mean more than one soul/spirit using 1 body at the same time

- Mihawk: yoru being a literal part of him with their 2 souls being together and him becoming a part of yoru making it black
- Imu: definitely possed someone’s body like he did Saturn and Gunko imo
- Caribou: probably something related to Ochoku’s doing if they’re related
- Coincidentally I think Blackbeard also has at least 1 more other soul that activates when he sleeps
- Zunesha: had ringed eyes when letting momo see through their eyes. Their souls somehow being connected. That or maybe their soul was put into the elephant as a curse or something
