I present to you Kuzan punching on par with Garp the Fist despite not throwing a single punch during the Marineford war even when fighting from point blank range against a direct counter to his fruit. I wouldn't put anything past an Admiral at this point.

Let's not forget the WSS got stalled by a Vista who had a shit eating grin on his face.
I responded to your post and didn't see any notifications that you replied to mine. What is that lmao

I just assumed that you realized Kuzan used ICE GLOVE to compete with Garp and ran from it

Same was said for raisin in wci for ages.
I never saw anyone with credibility say that Raisin had a black blade.

Some random ass nothing special veteran of Big Mom’s crew forging a black blade is straight up unbelievable. An Admiral of the Navy forging a black blade is far, far more believable than that shit lol.

My guy, I bet Lee’s reputation on Ryokugyu forging his black blade 4 years ago. Lmfao

And to be honest, there’s really no way for us to say that Ryokugyu forged his own black blade at this point. I’m 99% sure he did seeing as how this is just Admiral level power at this point, but at the end of the day Oda could always pull some bullshit.

But sure, I’ll bet that Ryokugyu forged his own black blade. If I’m wrong, I’ll become a Kaido fan.

@Elder Lee Hung Fn Lucci knows that Aramaki getting stalled by Morley is a tendencious lie when it's literally stated admirals held back in Reverie, he's just being disonhest because there's no room to cope
The funny thing is that Ryokugyu’s other feats are peak top tier feats, but they ignore those to hyper focus on one moment where we were given three different in-canon reasons as to why Ryokugyu didn’t neg Morley

Meanwhile Mihawk failed to defeat Vista in a fucking sword fight, the canon made no excuses for this failure, Mihawk was not nerfed, and Mihawk has absolutely no feats that scale him any higher than this, but let’s ignore all that because of agenda. Lol

I mean I'm not an Aramaki hater/downplayer or anything, I think he could've pushed Shanks to extreme diff despite acting like a wuss when he got wifi diffed, but him not using his black blade to take out Morley quicker was kind of stupid lol.
Using his sword to swiftly behead Morley would've done less damage than the giant broccoli form.

99% or 1%, I don't really think that matters. I bet my account that he didn't.

Trying to slide under the radar by not tagging me lol. I originally gave you 8/10, but now 7/10 because you've used that word twice without the correct spelling.

I use Morely because he's such a goofy character that it amuses me. GB has fought very powerful characters but his sword skills don't even try to be found. And yes, I imagine that they exist, but there's a difference between being good and being the very top.

Before Beehive, what reason did we have to believe Kuzan could punch like Garp? Literally nothing. Kuzan had only thrown one lazy ass punch in the entire manga before Beehive, and all the sudden he is punching like Garp. Lol

This is what it is to be an Admiral, you aren’t a one-trick pony like Saint Shanks or Mihawk, you have to be mid-high top tier in multiple regards.

Also, Gennai Aramaki from Ronin Gai, Ryokugyu’s inspiration, is a godlike swordsman. He kills dozens of samurai while drunk in the movie.

Still no explanation as to why Greenbull's blade
  • Is black in color
  • Has a hamon-shaped white line in the middle
  • Is much thinner than the handle
  • Is piercing through his pants
Which is all heavily indicative of a black blade rather than a black sheath, since a sheath is of the same width as the handle (if not bigger), doesn't have a reflection shaped like a wave/hamon and isn't piercing through the pants, but is attached to the hip.

The answers to these question remain unsolved.
As always.

The fact that he was a career serviceman who climbed one rank at the very least as we've seen on panel, and owed Garp was enough to suspect that he trained under Garp. When Garp first appeared, he mentioned training Luffy, a melee fighter, and took Coby along with him to show off rapidly advanced melee skills. To think that a career serviceman like Garp didn't train anyone before them wouldn't have made sense.

You're trying to argue that "no one would have thought" when the point is that no one could ever sufficiently refute it.

And speaking of Garp, it's pretty wild that you mention one trick ponies lmao. The only thing that held Garp back in this series was his age. He easily could have qualified as an Admiral in his prime, and there's no way to debate that.

This retrospective babble is useless, ain't nobody came even close to predicting Kuzan to be a Garp level puncher, Admirals had the reputation of being DF merchants.

No one even dared to propose Aokiji had the same style as Garp's. And would be have been laughed at to death if he had.

And would've because the proofs of Aokiji not being a boxer were far more numerous and compelling than Aramaki not using the sword he Is clearly carring around in the barely 4 o 5 panels of him fighting fodders or fighting in Marijoa.

We already knew he was trained by Garp, and we knew that long before Beehive.

There was still zero reason to believe that he could punch like Garp’s legendary fist lmfao. Kuzan punching like Garp is like if Mihawk threw down his sword and could still punch like Garp, there was just literally no reason to believe this was the case. And yet all the sudden Kuzan can punch like prime Garp. Lol

What an extremely gross error in logic LMFAO, no one can refute Akainu flapping his arms and flying to Jupiter, but there’s zero reason to believe that shit is happening. Lol

Anyway, there’s likewise no reason to believe Ryokugyu didn’t forge his own black blade. Aokiji trained his fists to Garp level, Kizaru trained his defense to world’s strongest level, why wouldn’t Ryokugyu forge his own black blade? What would be the point in introducing a third party who forged the black blade for Ryokugyu when Oda has already shown us two Admirals that reached this level of strength on their own?

And speaking of Garp, it's pretty wild that you mention one trick ponies lmao. The only thing that held Garp back in this series was his age.
Garp is a definitional one trick pony, just a straight brawler and nothing else. The fact that Aokiji reached prime Garp’s fist in his free time is nothing short of Garp humiliation lol. Prime Garp would need to eat an overpowered Devil Fruit to qualify as a modern-era Admiral.

Sword swallowing roaches should’ve deleted their accounts after betting on ZKK but they pussied out
A sword swallower’s word is worth as much as Mia Khalifa’s virginity
I don’t really care too much about the zkk shit now but it’s deadass insane that if you didn’t believe Zoro would not just kill but defeat + overpower him + make enma black in the process “proving” he’s stronger than oden + get the credit and become the hero of Wano you were considered a Zoro hater. They would deadass harass YouTubers and randoms on twitter lol

I was there for when people thought Zoro was going to defeat Doflamingo because Luffy couldn’t. I was also there for when Luffy stans thought he was going to somehow defeat bug mom during whole cake but nothing was that crazy
Tho tbf they do it every single arc now believing he’s gonna beat Doflamingo, Jack, Kaido, Kizaru, and now Loki. I do wonder what it was like pre dressrosa tho
Back on topic I don’t understand the point in trying to gatekeep something we don’t even know how it works. It might not even be power scaling related and as far as we know it’s looking more and more likely that’s the case
