It was the point where I realized that Oda doesnt really care for drawn out conflicts of they dont involve the major arc villain or their top subordinates. I should have recognized it too from Dressrosa and WCI when he spent very little on Doflamingo family members in a 100 chapter arc and then only gave Luffy a fight in WCI

I do feel somewhat confident that he'll still give Blackbeard, Shamrock, Akainu, and Imu their time of day along with their top subordinates, but Im not expecting more than 1-2 chapter fights, if any, for anyone not Zoro, Sanji or Luffy when the time comes, not even for Teach's crew and this will leave a bitter taste in people's mouthes when it happens. Trust me.
