I still don't understand how DR even works
It seems to have some regen buth much more low level than the those of the HKs

Its quite simple actually they can regenerate from certain " weaker " attacks. Once attack power surpasses certain threshold character dies and get reversed back.

Main problem with DR Xebec was not his regeneration but his Coc shield.
