This random DR giant is probably got immediately one shot by Dorry, while Warcury tanked blows from a Yonko with no damage. I don’t think Oda made this giant stronger than Warcury and I am bewildered by this outrage lol.

That strategy probably isn’t going to work. You can see that Qilingham is already regenerating and the way the chapter presents it makes it seem like the SHs are tbh underestimating the HKs.

Qilingham outright calls them out on it, and their statement that “mariejois is guarded by weaklings” objectively doesn’t make sense.

Also, Qilingham can still use his fruit, which is causing havoc on Elbaf so tying him up is pointless anyway.

If Oda doesn’t care about Power Systems and Consistency he really should have just kept things simple in this verse. He could have reduced a 29 year long series to 10-15 years. .
