Kiringham statment doesn't mean anything with regards to himself he has a potty mouth and has already shown us he doesn't have the abillity to back his talk.
Oda's already given us an indication of where the looming threat is going to be coming from via Jimbe, which is "Gunko/Imu".
Kiringham is talking nonsense becoz Imu is with them on the Island.
If Kiringham and Sommers play any further signifcant role in this arc it will either be after a buff from Imu or in a sneaky manner which will ultimately lead to their demise.
