Well many including me speculated the abyss works similiar to the Almight ability of Ywach in bleach.
So can take the abyss (and the bestowed powers with it) back i assume he can maybe fuse/create something new with people that have the contract and belong to him

I’ve always had an inkling that this arc could extend into marijoea and there’s still the heavenly realm that Oda’s still yet to touch up on so still much more to come this arc imo.
If Sanji’s gonna unlock CoC as we know it, it’ll 100% be this arc. Won’t be against a holy bums except they get an upgrade on their seals though.

I thought that too but this chapter felt like the setup to the climax, the last chapter had the same feel to the usual climaxes since Arlong park imo

I chalked it up to the option that Heaven realm could be briefly explored like old wano end the end of wanos climax
