Verification problem is real and I can't resort to anything blindly.
It's not like I don't appreciate philosophers. Their talks when it comes to abstract stuffs matters alot.
But just like religion, philosophy suffers from verification problem.
Interestingly, people expect Science to verify itself with experiments or predictions but they blindly believe metaphysics and religion as if they are some sort of proven and verifiable claims which they aren't.
People don't hold religion and metaphysics to the same agency of standards which they expect from science which is weird.
Science works like this:
Hypothesis --> predictions --> experiment or observations --> verification and this process goes on.
I mean Einstein's General theory of relativity is still being questioned after 100 years despite it always proven out to be true.
But metaphysics:
Premises ---> reasoning ---> conclusion
There is no external check or verification. Just blind faith.
But my point is that science can say nothing about these stuff, because of its methodology, you will never reach an answer about that through science. Thats the whole point. Science can't even say what is the physical 😭😭😭😭
The two definitions of what is the physical was philosophy who gave: extension and information 😭😭😭😭
Science will never help about this question
And if you will only base your opinion in science then you are scientificist (someone who think that knowledge outside empirical science is not valid)
And scientificism is self defeating (no physicalist support that currently, you can take the most famous one like churchland, dennett, millikan. Thank you sellars)
