2. Kidd does not need to share shine with Law again until he is given some character focus and shine of his own (like what Law got in Punk Hazard + Dressrosa)

3. Kidd + Law alliance is ass imo. Let them each stay in their own lane as pillars of the new era occasionally teaming up when they have to. I see people trying to push the idea of them combining their crews and I don’t like that shit at all lmao

Like, has Luffy's battle IQ decreased so significantly that he wasted his trump card (G5) on fodder MMA monsters instead of keeping his energy for the real threat? Like, I get that G5 was used to catch all the falling giants and to draw how large Dragon Loki really is but at that point, reverting back to a weaker gear, like G2, G3 or even G4, to beat up Sommers would be the logical conclusion to save up power. Yet he spammed his awakening on meaningless things and, surprise, surprise, quickly got turned into an old guy after having a clash with Imunko.

Does it even make sense at this point? I know Oda just likes to draw G5 but DUDE!!! Other gears already exist and Luffy perfectly masters them. It's like he completely forgot about it entirely.

Yeah Luffy battle IQ drop is dramatic
He had no reason to stay G5 all this time considering Loki was the one fighting the MMA

Oda likes to retroactively make Luffy’s previous Gears useless trash after he gets a shiny new Gear.

G2/3 Luffy couldn’t even dent a single Cracker biscuit soldier for some reason, and a similar thing happened on Egghead with G4 Luffy vs Kizaru

That's fair man, I'm taking more of a compromise approach but I respect that entirely. I would love Kidd to get his own saga like Law did, arcs of buildup and I'm sure that's what Oda had planned for him given his sly comments in the past too.

Yeah occasionally teamups can be more fun and rewarding than full blown alliances, plus tbf after the Yonko alliance, Oda has kinda ruined them for me too lol.

I agree too, Kidd needs to return in the manga especially and I'm sure he will ofc, but I am wondering when, as he's not appeared in Elbaph yet but maybe after this arc ends? If we get some updates around the world or for the burned mark man arc, as Kidd was looking for him too?
