WB was a relic of the previous era
I was being facetious to prove a point about strength. But he was closest to the OP, "a true pirate," etc.

If the person who's synonymous with the great age must be a rookie, then why not Teach? He injured Shanks!

I'm being sarcastic again. My point is that strength isn't a determiner for who can be synonymous with the great age. Maybe Shanks had more famous deeds, visited more places, flashed his winning smile, romanced more barmaids, had a cool crew, etc. Why assume it's due to strength unless you're just looking for reasons to argue PLs with Mihawk fans?

According to Skull, the pirate-obsessed nerd, in terms of sheer battle power in a one-on-one fight, Kaido was likely the strongest.

there you have it
not shanks
not big mom.

Red-Hair's straight from Roger's lineage...but he doesn't have any desire to carry on his old captain's will and be King of the Pirates.
so much for inheriting the hat and roger's will.

Why did Shanks become the one synonymous with the Great Age of Piracy if Mihawk is stronger according to some people?
kaido is in the same generation
kaido is stronger
mind putting 2 and 2 together. lmao

Because that's what his title means, no?
they dont know what they are talking about
kaido isnt synonymous with the great age of piracy
yet is in the same generation and is stronger. sooner or later yall would have to accept mihawk is prob the most notable person shanks had a serious battle with and he didnt win and till this day, mihawk remains the wss .
