Questions & Mysteries Blackbeard will seize the treasure of Mariejois and usurp Imu as the final villain

We know something’s going on at Fishman Island right now. Maybe Blackbeard is instead trying to take Poseidon while the revolutionary army will be the one to destroy Pangaea castle

is the fishman island thing based off mosa saying they also have trouble of their own to deal with (assuming you believe mosa is shirahoshi), or is it something else that i forgot about?

Blackbeard's goal is to be what Imu currently is, the king of the world.
You saying Teach wants to create a psudo hamornious government and be buddy with whoever aligns with him? He doesn't even control a modest country and impose tyranny like any villains did. His island is full of criminals and isn't even a country lol.

"To serve as a villain, just not the villain" doesn’t really answer the question. It still leaves his entire role and buildup hanging.
And about the idea that it makes zero sense for a villain to achieve their goal, that’s not quite true. If anything, letting a villain reach their peak is what makes them a real threat in the story. Blackbeard becoming King of the World would just set the stage for the final conflict, and he’d be way more chaotic and unpredictable than Imu.
The real stake isn’t the throne anyway, it’s the One Piece.
You literally have this backwards. Blackbeard cant take the throne unless he becomes PK. Thats literally the point of the series. You need whatever is in LT to do it. He wouldn't have attacked Law if his goal was Imu's seat directly. Thus he is destined to lose because he wont become Pirate King first.

The same reasons why Kaido or Big Mom didn't and didnt get ancient weapons. Villains lose in this story.

He can rule however he wants if he's king of the world. His ambition and dream is to be what Imu is, and he will never accomplish that goal because he is a villain and villains do not get what they want, it is storytelling 101.

I don’t see how Blackbeard can top Imu’s sins for the last 800 years. Basically, every suffering from major characters can be directly traced back to Imu’s actions. Characters that the readers love, not some newly introduced characters that we’ll see in the ancient history flashback lol.
True, but Imu made BB suffer too.

Also, but I am spitballing here, we might come to know that Imu turned bad because of Davy Jones, so shifting, at least partially, the blame to Davy Jones and so Teach, who would have become the new king of thw world.

Ultimately he isn't going to achieve his dream, it's to what certain extend that his dream fails. But you seems to imply he need to destroy strawhats and everyone else to become king of the world, no he doens't. Imu currently has what Teach wants and has connection to him due to the flashback. All he needs to get rid of everyone on the top of world government. The flashback has built the reason for Teach to avenge Xebec and take down Imu, this isn't going to change.

Mosa is implied to be Shirahoshi. Mosa tells Loki there are problems where they are and they wont talk for a while.

I dont think its Blackbeard (he was just at Pirate Island like a few days prior), but its like everything else happening around the world. Chaos.
Yeah, but I don't really know why this Mosa-Shirahoshi nonsense kept being around. At least other clearly wrong theories like Gaban-man marked by flames were abandoned.

It can't be Shirahoshi, if not for simple logic (and there are various reasons for that), because of clear hints and proofs it's not her:

1) Shirahoshi talks differently:

2) Also, I know Oda is senile, but in the manga Shirahoshi literally said that she could only talk to Megalo:

Not to mention it makes no sense and there is no logical connection for Loki to have ramdomly get a Deden mushy of Shiraoshi, Denden musho who doesn't even have Shirahoshi's features, etc.
