Loki has the better actual character spread but Imu has the best build-up imo. That shit with the massive summoning pentagram in the sky + everyone reacting to his presence + houses starting to move was great
Imu would've been 10/10 if we had proper body shot instead of that zoomed out panel where we barely the details. (Likely next chapter)

I agree.
Imu's was super flashy, but Xebec and Loki's were cooler imho.

Both were far more down to earth, but had an incredible impact. Loki was this MASSIVE ancient giant feared by his whole race, fated to destory the world, his presence felt in all underworld, Yggdrasil shaking when he wanted, etc., so much that even seastone could barely contain him:




Xebec was pure aura. Not to mention, showed with both WB and Shiki AS SUBORDINATES behind him. And bam: in the presentation Oda puts the Admiral killing too:

Nobody gave a fuck about Loki prior to finding out what he looked like.

Most of y'all just suck his dick now because he has a cool design.

Everyone was looking forward to Rocks and his entrance matched the hype.

Imu's entrance, at least in terms of grandiosity, matched the hype.

Gaban was highly anticipated, and his entrance matched the hype.

Loki's entrance was well executed, but these mfers are inflating it because they like his design and character.

Yeah, but Loki, as others before him (Kuzan, for example), basically didn't have characterization before that moment. It wasn't one of those long-waited introductions.

He hadn't have any hype.

And his introduction (the whole chapter in fact was about him) single-handedly changed that.

Loki is an actual interesting new character. Imu has been in the story for 8 years,and officially cemented himself this arc as one of the most poorly written characters in fiction, so who really cares?

Rocks's entrance wasn't anything that special, and his design is just Blackbeard 2.0
