General & Others Will Black Blades be Important to the story?

#22
No Oda just made them up, with no relevance whatsoever. Mihawk, the current World's Strongest Swordsman, with the strongest blade & Ryuma, known as God of the blade, by the Wanonese people, are the only 2 people to have ever created a black blade, through their history of battles.

But like I said, just put into the story for the sake of it 100% :BigW:

Just fyi people that reading since-prets said the same thing about cursed blades for 10+years plus just for them a) to accomplish jack shit b) in wano revealed just to exceptional well forged swords

Just for food thought when making this smart posts

Nah, this story is only about 9 SHs, anything related to Zoro is not Important.
Is any ambition of the other strawhats even relevant at this point? And next question being, is their ambition really an impossible dream? I would argue for most, not really. Sanji finding all blue? Depending on what all blue means (maybe the reconnection of the 4 seas through the breaking of the Red Line), it's not something Sanji as an individual will "achieve". Drawing a map of the world (Nami), knowing world history (Robin)? The Roger pirates already sailed through the grandline and learned all the history. Being a strong warrior (Usopp)? That's ordinary. You could argue only Chopper will achieve something unheard of, which is finding medicine that cures everything.

We gotta accept that at this point, it's Nika Piece. We got this ages old lore that dates back thousands of years (first world), with the relevant axis consisting of Nika, Satan (Imu), Davy Jones and perhaps Nidhogg (who fought the serpent in the Mural). Zoro for all of his power at the end, isn't really relevant. He's a supporting character. Luffy pre Nika role said that being the WSS is the minimum for being a PK's right hand man, which Zoro didn't disagree with, and the Nika lore goes far beyond Pirate King.

That's because readers think SHs Dreams are what They declared themselves, which isn't the case at all, SHs simply have a desire which Oda gonna use them to make them achieve what He truly wants from them, even SHs themselves don't have the full idea of how They are going to change the world, only Chopper's Dream is clearer than rest,

You really think Brook's Purpose is to just meet Laboon? and Robin's Purpose is to just satisfy her curiosity? and Usopp's Purpose is to just get famous or feel truly brave? ... etc

Oda simply wants to turn Crew into Best Doctor, Best Swordsman, Best Cook, Best Shipwright, Best Historian ... etc
And Chopper is only one who explained what it means to be Best, it means Creating what makes that entire Job "Obsolete",

Doctor's purpose is to simply tell you which sickness needs which medicine, but Chopper wants to create an All Healing Cure that would technically make Doctors Non-Existent, and Chopper was Introduced with Medicine tied to his Dream, so He just needs to turn Cherry Blossoms into that Perfect Cure,

Same thing for other SHs, Nami is gonna create a Map that makes Navigators & Cartographers not needed anymore,
And Brook gonna create a Song that turns Musicians not needed anymore,
And Sanji gonna create a Food that turns Cooks not needed anymore,
And Zoro gonna create a Technique that make Fighters not needed anymore ... etc

These Goals aren't just Difficult, They are straight up childishly impossible!
SHs don't understand their Dreams this way, only Luffy & Chopper have their Dreams very clear to them because They are the childish ones in the crew,

And what happens if doctors & fighters & cooks & shipwrights ... etc aren't needed anymore?
It means everyone can journey, everyone can go on endless adventures, everyone is finally truly "Free",
Yes it's Luffy Piece, but his entire purpose is to share his biggest blessing with the world, and that's his crew,

So for Zoro, He thinks He just have to beat Mihawk, but in reality He cannot do it unless He creates an "Impossible" Technique, and that is the true purpose of his Dream, Mihawk is just the motivation for it, that's all.
