we are talking about specific cases zoro and luffy+his df.
oda has been clear from the beginning that who is better and only time luffy does good against zoro is when his df is the counter to the opps. enel and imu only these two characters have pressed zoro and luffy did better against them cuz of his df .

i partially agree

I think hybrid forms usually are better suited in fighting than full zoan forms but all out final attacks are at their strongest in full zoan

ex:Kaidos fdd,Luffy bajrung gun,Lokis thorheim and I’m guessing Loki has his Own grand version of fdd to showcase

But Imus appearance in the mural is something we haven’t seen before and the closest thing it matches is the shadowy salamander shape we saw Imu take in the throne room which should be his strongest form.

I used to think that too, but the way oda handling Zoan Form is that their Strongest form is their Hybrid.
Especially 1v1
But AOE, their strongest form is Full Form Zoan of course.
And those Salamander thing that we saw before is gonna get changed imo, at least gonna be similar like one on the murals, especially after we've seen what gorosei look like lol
