All of this looks like smart use of Portals,
(Even his Pre-Devil Feats were no different, just simpler)

I think Imu fights using Endless Weapons & Tech just like Krieg but instead of storing them in his Armor, He brings them out using his Flame-Like Abyss Portals,

I don't see why Imu can't use his regeneration on himself like his subjects can, so Loki really shouldn't be able to hurt him.
I believe Imu can only truly be harmed and/or killed at Mariejois alone, so either he expends too much energy and has to flee or someone gets the idea to destroy the Pentagram.

Imu values his Holy roppo subordinates more than the Elders where he can take away their immortality over a meager failure 
Saturn refused to destroy Emet in the past even though he was ordered to do it, let Ginny and Bonney go, all of that came back to bite him back in the ass during the Egghead arc along with letting Luffy escape.
Saturn's failure was worse than Sommers and Killingham's failure on Elbaf.
