Suspected wings were going to get filthy PUs after reading how easily Imu dispactched them in th initial spoilers but detailed spoiler quite literaly confirms it with the way he dispatched Zoro (i.e. being reminiscent to the way he lost to Mihawk)

We have yet to see how Imu's ability works and how he will behave when he is on the receiving end.

The smoking gun was when Zoro was stuck in a chimney in Water 7 while Luffy tore apart the two buildings he was stuck in between. You can't just cope about every anti-feat Zoro displays just because it contradicts the pinnacle of existence jerk off.

People should re read the flashback. Oda starts it with Rocks breaking into Mariejois and makes it clear he could do nothing, as the narrator says

Then we see Rocks tell his plan to overthrow Imu, which is eating 2 special fruits. We know that in current times, Teach looked hard for the Yami fruit, and allegedly, Loki killed his father for the fruit that Rocks wanted Harald to eat

We later see Imu vs Rocks, Roger, WB etc, they attack him but do nothing.

The flashback then ends with Loki eating one of the 2 devil fruits. Imu is now shook

Oda is clearly setting up that Imu has BS Hax powers that means you can't harm him without one of the fruits he's weak too, that Joyboy and Davy Jones had, and maybe the OG Nidhogg is involved as well. It's pretty simple show don't tell storytelling.

You said it yourself, Nik. Haki trumps all, it's the counter to DF hax and Zoro according to yourself is not only one of the handful of the strongest by virtue of having ACoC, but he is the pinnacle of existence who showed the greatest Haki feats to date through KOH.
