Imagine Zoro and Sanji roles reversed. Imu blocks Sanji with his tail and uses a pea sized flame to slap him in the face, while using a kick on Zoro emitting both black flames and lightning, while Zoro at least manages to block with his swords.

Zoro scholars would gas Zoro up 10 tiers above Sanji, to at least PK+ level. But the energy is different given Sanji is the one shining.

You missed the point. Luffy scaled from being Koed by Kaido to fighting him toe to toe.

And, G5 is everyone to see. It's broken. It leaves room for Oda to scale up Luffy without much going on prior.

Yeah, but you're comparing Wano, a 4 year arc(as long as some manga lol) where Luffy got like.... 3 powerups? To a fight that's happening right now, that probably ends with either the SHP running away, or Imu being self sabotaged or some shit.

But anyway, you have a right to your opinion obviously. I just can't personally visualize him out preforming Loki at this point, I don't think it's where the story is heading.

Wano lasted 4 years in real time but not in manga itself. In the manga, Luffy jumped from getting one shot koed by Kaido to coming as winner in span of weeks.

I don't think anyone is arguing Luffy will beat IMU here.. there's no way this is happening.

Argument is it's hard to see Loki outshining Luffy against IMU.

It could be due to Luffy's df being more special or a counter to IMU's or could be haki or could be overall power level but pattern so far has been - Luffy always ends up wanked more than any of his allies or SHs in an arc.

If oda breaks this pattern then I won't mind either as it would be breathe of fresh air but I don't want to wager against the pattern
