Of course Zoro wasn't going to win but he is not fighting Imu either, its just an initial clash and Zoro is now going to do something else it seems.

I think the difference is clear that Oda didnt have Imu use a named attack against Sanji and Hajrudin and just big explosions. Another detail that someone pointed out on twitter is that Zoro actually reacted to the point blank attack, notice his swords at the time of attack and at the time of Imus attack. Maybe thats the reason there wasn't an explosion and Zoro is still conscious. He couldn't block the whole attack but still managed to react to that point blank attack.

Sanji actualy didnt get kicked by imu he was crushed under foot like an ant.

Yes, WGHQ's leaks about Sanji were totally wrong and made him look weaker than he was. It turned out Imu used ACoC + black flames on his leg to attack Sanji while the latter reacted AND TRIED to block it, then the explosion happened.

As for the Medic, WGHQ even spared all the sword swallowers from earlier humiliation. So yes, fake leaks.

- used an inappropriate move which wasn't tailored towards Imu's defense
- got sneak attacked by one of Imu's strongest attacks (condensed fire)
- Could still partially react (that's why there was no explosion)
- Was back up immediately
- Imu ran away quickly sensing demonic aura Asura
