yeh "why does it matter" idk they both have same fighting style and share abilitys maybe thats why

Zoro is also the descendant of Ryuma and has a similar fighting style. Luffy and Garp also have similar fighting styles, except that Luffy also has a Devil Fruit power. If they are related and if mihawk trained for a bit with Imu it is noraml to have a similar fighting style. Although mihawk only fight with his sword and Imu also uses other attacks.
