Sure, but Imu does show that Oda isn’t afraid to draw a blade in the black-and-white manga as black, even if it’s not actually a Kokuto. Obviously if GB’s blade isn’t a Kokuto, the reason why it’s drawn black would be something other than Imu’s magic. It could be a grass sword, wooden sword, or Oda just thought it looked better with the rest of Aramaki’s design if he drew it black (same reason why he drew canonically blonde Queen with pitch black hair in the manga).

Tbh, if Aramaki doesn’t even show off any swordsmanship in his next major encounter, I’m just gonna assume that he either got the Kokuto from someone else, or it’s not really a Kokuto. Someone who forged a Kokuto should obviously have swordsmanship be a core part of their fighting style
But we have the colored vivre card where Aramaki's blade has a black edge with a white hamon. There is no reason not go give Aramaki that feat unless you are a Zoro fan.

The fact Zoro Boys reject Aramaki having a black blade but believe the sword Imu created with black magic from thin air is a black blade forged in the same matter like Mihawk's and Ryuma's is nothing short of pathetic.

Even if Green Meme has a black blade it doesn't really matter

Obviously he didn't forge it either way, we already know that Oden failed to forge one so why would Green Meme have been capable?

If it is a black blade he stole it from somewhere, just like that TV character Green Meme is based on that goes around stealing swords

Basically, it's another subtle joke by Oda to pile on the meme that is Green Meme
Becuase Aramaki dogwalk Lolden, the fourth of Roger's crew :kayneshrug:.

Actually if Mihawk is really a Nerona then the chances Imu is the one who forged Mihawk's black blade are very likely :risisure:

What is beneath him? Where are you getting him not summoning a black blade first of all?

Second of all wtf does Imu's demonic powers making things black have to do with anything else?

Third of all Dorry's blade was not black and he's the only one out of the two with a sword. So it feels almost intentional by Oda that he kept the blade silver for Dorry.
Are you saying that swords are the only bladed weapons that can become a Kokuto? If Mihawk was instead an axeman who was equally skilled in axemanship as canon Mihawk is in swordsmanship, Mihawk wouldn’t be able to have a Kokuto axe because it’s exclusive to swords? I don’t see why that would be the case.

Yea Oda doesn't care about non swords when it comes to this topic. He hardly cares about black blades to begin with.

The fact that Dorry's sword was specifically left silver when his hilt was black and Brogy's axe was black is a bit fishy. Might mean he is aware.

Gaban and Rayleigh thought he is the child of prophecy. Shanks clearly realized he isnt and that it is luffy. Shanks is Younkou level and nothing more.
No, they knew that the new JB hadn’t been born yet, so Gaban wasn’t referring to Shanks being the new JB when he called him a child of destiny 14 years ago

Show me the panels of him losing to Shanks.

He's confirmed above DR Xebec because it was literally shown and stated multiple times, first when he killed DR Xebec's equal when Gaban confirmed Primebeard and Garp could not do the same, after he failed to do so even with Shanks' help.

And now Gaban once again confirmed current Imu's haki >> DR Xebec, who Roger+Garp combined failed to overpower outside of 1 haki mass final resort attack. Base Loki is already pushing back someone whose Haki is confirmed clearly above DR Xebec's.

We have no idea what happened with Shanks. What we do know is neither Loki or Shanks suffered any scars from this so called battle.
Firstly from Gaban himself and no alternative Loki just giving himself up to shanks does not align up with how Oda writes shanks.
Why are we leaving out the fact that Harald stopped fighting and allowed Loki a free hit to Finnish him off
Gaban did not once said that Garp and Primebeard could not do the same. In fact Gaban was surprised that Harald could use conquers haki and did not know you can overcome it by using mass which something Gaban and Shanks never tried to do.

From the spoilers Loki managed push Imu away ok it didn't injure imu at all, we saw Garp and Roger do the same with DR Xebec the issue was overcoming the conquers haki defense. Also Imu isn't going all out with Loki its obvious he's playing around with him, this is normal villain writing they never go all out from the start.

Lastly scars are a narrative tool used by Oda they are never used for damage from rights, Garp and Roger got no scars from the xebec fight hell Luffy died against Kaido and he doesn't have a single scar from it. Are those fights not battles at all now as well?
