Exactly what I said, Imu just wants world peace and thinks this is the best way to get there. Sometimes I think I am Oda and just don’t know it.

This character is 100000% not the final villain. The final villain will be a semi-mindless calamity of destruction.

It can only be Akainu. Even Blackbeard will turn out a cry baby that got wronged and wants his idea of peace. Meanwhile Akainu only cares about destroying what he thinks is evil.

The best way this goes is Imu goes down to Luffy and BB steals the kill => BB becomes King of the world and absorbs Imus powers => Luffy vs BB happens and the series ends with BBs defeat.

Wuh? Luffy is all about freedom and liberation and you have Imu spelling out to the reader that hes all about oppression and domination, I mean what are we talking about lol.

Yeah, I get why they're opposites, but I feel other characters (BB, Sabo/Dragon, Koby) have a role to play in taking Imu down and there'll be a world post-Imu (as the Harley mural seems to imply Joyboy is the one in change of 'ending - see changing - the world).

Either BB and Luffy face eachother for the OP before the war vs. WG - which would only leave Luffy & co to face Imu and the WG - or they face them together (along many others) and THEN they fight to see who will '''''impose'''' their worlview on the world after Imu.

Imu probably gives Obito/ Madara vibes he probably saw tragedy of his people being hunted or killed thats why he allows Celestial dragon to do whatever they want.

Maybe D family weren't exactly good guys back during void century .

Maybe Imu was the hero of void century but decided to be greater evil to control the world anyone think he has Eren kind of vibe here. If Oda takes thos route we will see Imu’s perspective how he was justified in erasing void century.
