Exactly and then the fact that "generic" doesn't even have to be boring lol, and people here use those terms interchangeably.

In the grand scheme of things Griffith, imo one of the best written characters ever is pretty generic as well.
@Fujishiro Literally there is too much fiction for an author to reinvent the wheel. And you are certainly not gonna see the reinvention of wheels in anime of all things.

Actually I guess you are right.
I was using myself as an example then, I personally won't shit on Sanji unless I see Sanji fans unnecessarily shitting on Zoro but both sides are generally guilty I guess.
