Oda doesnt have the crew visit Islands we've seen already in its entirety. This is why things like Pirate Island, Banaro, Sphinx, Winner, Raijin, God Valley, Baltigo, etc dont happen because he uses those settings for other characters.
Imo, Sakazuki has his role to play against he other Yonko when the Burned Scar Man gets involved. This is because Blackbeard has Garp (which means Sengoku and Tsuru wont sit still), and Koby has explicitly stated he wont let Luffy become PK, which means the Marines need to be involved beforehand. Not only this but Ryokugyuu intends on fighting the RHP eventually, Kuzan's plot probably is Marine related (i.e. Smoker/Sakauzki) given he captured Garp, and you have the fact that Cross Guild is putting bounties on Marines.
Personal headcanon is 3 Islands left, plus a final WG conflict:
- Island after Elbaph: BSM setup and who they are/where they will be. The Grand Fleet meets back up with Luffy. Luffy finally meets Shanks, etc. Not sure when or how Teach gets Pluton or Poseidon, but I assume this happens soon. CG get the remaining former Shichibukai (Doffy, Moria, Weevil, possibly Hancock) to join them at this time.
- Lodestar: Is where all 4 Yonko and Marines will fight over the right to go after One Piece. Big Mom's crew try to save Pudding and fail. Perhaps Shanks and Sakazuki lose here along with their groups, and get good endings. Blackbeard and Luffy get copies of the 4th RP and race to LT. This is the "great incident" that the Straw Hat Fleet takes part in, since the Marine force and Yonko system basically is destroyed after this.
- Laugh Tale: Void Century, BBP vs SHP over One Piece. PK status
- Mariejoa/War: Fight against the WG with all allies (Good Marines like Koby and his Sword group, Supernova, Fleet, Loki, Yamato, Momo, Vivi, Kyros/Rebecca, Neptune, Shirahoshi, etc), plus the RA.

Idk, I think there’s a good possibility that Lodestar is a “Yonko battle royale,” but I feel like adding the Marines into that arc would just be too much. There’s already more than enough characters for Oda to handle with the 4 Yonko crews, and then you’d be adding in Sakazuki, Kizaru, Fuji, Ryo, Sengoku, and the Zodiac VAs (which I guess Oda could just shaft like he’s shafted all other VAs, but I’d prefer not).
Although I’d prefer to see Zoro and Sanji vs Fuji and Ryo happen, at this point it might just be better for Oda to have each Yonko fight an Admiral before the Yonko battle royale in Lodestar.
We know that Akainu wants to take the fight to the Yonko, so maybe he divides the Marines up and sends 4 fleets after the Yonko. The SHs can make a quick pit stop at Sphinx, have Luffy see Ace’s grave, and have Luffy avenge Ace by beating Akainu. Zoro and Sanji can fight 2 Zodiac VA’s, I guess. I’d love for Zodiac VAs to be powerful, but them being strong enough to be a proper challenge for post-Elbaf Zoro and Sanji (who will probably get powerups in Elbaf) might be too good to be true. Maybe they fight S-Hawk and S-Shark instead.
BB can fight Kizaru because light vs dark. Teach’s dad, Xebec, did kill an Admiral, and Xebec also listed destroying the Marines as a part of his grand plan. We know that Lafitte was monitoring that Marine shipyard or whatever, so maybe Teach attacks New MF while its defenses are low and Kizaru is the only Admiral stationed there.
Shanks can fight Ryokugyu because of their past interaction and Ryokugyu “promising” to fight them in the future.
Fujitora can fight Mihawk because Fujitora is a top tier swordsman who would make for a good hypetool for Mihawk

Given his Egghead role, for Kizaru i don't know but im also not beholden to strict 1v1 fights anymore. Kuzan probably still is a Marine mole to the extreme if I had to guess too.
One thing im absolutely expecting is Oda recreating this scene in front of Luffy (whether he fights all of them or not)
