Btw on twitter I have seen some comments about how Sanji tanked Imu's attack. Maybe some of them are ironic but it is fundamentally wrong.
For me "tanking an attack" means receiving an attack and not being largely affected by it. It means that the character after the attack is not being knocked out or does not get huge damages from it.

Given that no, Sanji did not tank that as we can see he is probably knocked out.
Another example is Zoro vs Hakai, he did not tank it. First it was assumed that he was saved by Law after two seconds and so he did not even got hit by the full scale attack of Hakai.

The outcome is that both of them did not tank the attack.

Sanji -> knocked out
Zoro -> severely damaged (several broken bones) and did not even took the full hit.

We even got the demonstration of "tanking an attack" in this chapter specifically.
Imu tanked the hammer attack from Loki using his black flames as a shield and he tanked the thorheim after also using the black flames with the same method.

Can't wait for Usopp to get his shining moment against Imu and tank an attack that slept Zolo

Usopp doing better against the final villain than the chicken wings is going to be so funny.

The hatred that this man will receive.

Usopp fans, get ready.

The haters are about to lose their shit on ya'll.

Imu’s not really gotten out of first gear yet but Loki being able to tango with him is very impressive regardless. Kinda like how Oda is emphasizing the strength of the Ancient Giants & Loki’s strength stat in particular in this fight. A shame we weren’t able to get Harald vs. Imu in some capacity, would’ve been interesting to see how well he’d have fared. Feel like he might’ve been able to put in a similar performance prior to the blast from Nidhogg.

Not quite sure why Oda’s still holding back on Loki’s hybrid though and I fear we might not get to see it during this fight with Imu (Oda might be saying it for Loki v Shamrock 💀) as I doubt Oda gives him another chapter to flex again like this. If Nika doesn’t appear early next chapter I reckon there’s a strong chance we see Loki wrecked off panel.

the distance between top 1 imu's kick and sanji

is smaller than the distance between usopp's attack and gunko

not being reduced to a red mist is a W im just the messenger
I dont think the holy knights bodys really work like normal. Kinda like the gorosei, they sseem to turn into a sort of black smoke or shadow that dissipates and quickly shows up again, so I think this is kinda a flex by both of them. Gunko shows she doesn't even need to care about being hit, but his pop green is legit strong. We do have to remember she blitzes him

I will go with you on one thing: Usopps moves are actually very underrated in power. Same with Frankys lasers and Namis lightning. People who powerscale everything will say nuh-uh, but explosions and elemental attacks and lasers don't actually need Haki to match up to it. People complain about General Frankys power not making sense, but dont realize it is Oda saying Wapometal and lasers based on Kizaru can match up to a tobi roppo who knows haki. Technology isn't an irrelevant power source and many straw hats upgrades will be based on it, rather than just haki. Usopp will get a little of both camps, because his power has always been unique moves rather than JUST strong bullets. Nami is a "wizard" who is really a scientist, and her lightning has always been depicted as very strong, more than you would expect

Vegapunk is going to treats Sanji, meanwhile Chopper is doing the same for Zoro.
What if...Lilith will discover something about Sanji's body that will lead to a new power up.
She already gave a Cola boost to Franky. :bamathink:
Just saying
He is already stonger than Zoro once he gets his CoC and another power up from Lilith he will be top 5 of the verse. A bit to soon for him maybe later on.
