In a world where we have Loki putting in work against the guy that one tapped Zoro and Sanji with Luffy emphaizing the the stakes of just how ridiculous Imu is PL-wise (Yonko Luffy that beat Kaido btw) and prepping for it by stuffing himself to the gills, how in the world do you even get excited about something as dead of Bummers and Bellingham. No thank you personally

I'm more concern their growth will make little to no sense, especially Zoro's. Clearly ACoC by itself is not enough to be of any help against Imu.
With Sanji's backstory yet to be fully explored, CL⁴⁶Oda can literally do whatever he desires to power him up: lunarian and/or buccaneer hybrid, PoL, Vinsmoke genes 2.0, Mother Flame power up, RS 2.0, Demon form,... .
The only PU I can think of for Zoro is black blades, which is quite lame

If Sommers and Kiringham walked into this arc at that level nobody would be complaining but they weren't even as strong as King and Queen. Regardless, the arc has progressed far beyong that and it's become pretty clear that even that level is not enough. Zoro and Sanji both need to be full blown top tiers at the bare minimum by the end of this arc coz anything less than that is not good enough. At the bare minimum they need to be strong enough to be able to tango with Imu's top executives (i.e. all of whom will probably be able to use CoC barrier) which is a level that is even beyond Prime Gaban and Prime Ray which might sound a bit ridicolous but that is how mad the power creep is atm.
Like I told Rayan a few days ago Zoro and Sanji do not have the luxury to slow dance their way up to top tier at the current level we are at top tier is the bare minimum level you gotta be at to not fade out of relevancy.
I agree with you on Zoro's progression being seeming a bit too plain with god level DFs being introduced one after the other but I don't think it will matter all that much with him. Shanks for instance doesn't have a god tier fruit and he was stated to have bested Loki so Zoro will be fine. Moroever Oda seems to be putting emphasis on the sheer volume of CoC Zoro seems to have. Reckon that will be what Oda builds on for his next PU. Plus black blades are still pretty much a black box that Oda can do whatever he wants with and Zoro will have 3 of those.
