What seems more likely: that Oda is taking travel times into account when scaling the size of his world, or that he’s basing all of his scaling on some random statement about a river being 50 km wide in one gag scene?
Even if you exclude the 50km statement (for what reason should we even get rid of that, delusional bro?), the strawhats needed days to travel in this country. The size of Alabasta would be CLEARLY visible in our world. Even if it's half the size of Germany or France.

Meanwhile, Alabasta is just one of the million islands in the Grand Line, which is - as you should know - not even remotely as large as the 4 great seas. So stop the cope, you're only looking like a fool.

He doesn't believe any of that because it'd mean ships would take far more time to travel within the Grand Line. I don't even get this level of cope to come up with this. It's simply one of the most well known world building concepts of One Piece.
We have seen the STHs navigate the Grandline through riding special sea phenomenons multiple times, that's how they're maintaining high travel speed in their journey. I always assumed that the rest of the world also take advantage of such phenomenons to travel around otherwise travel time would be way to slow to allow for the world to stay connected.

Kizaru’s light already diverges from irl light in many other ways, so why should we assume it’s moving as fast as irl light?
So why do you make such a big deal when Kizaru can break the own universal speed limit in ONE PIECE WHEN OP LS defies irl LS?

Are you asking the same questions when DB characters move at FTL?

Didn’t Kuma also state his air cannons are light speed lol?
Yes he did. Lol

You can argue that Kizaru is moving at whatever Oda visualizes to be light speed in his head, but that doesn’t mean he’s actually traveling at irl light speed
I never said Kizaru moved at irl light speed and I’m not sure where you hallucinated this from, I said Kizaru moves at light speed in canon and can increase his speed to FTL in canon.

We’ve never had a detailed view of the entire OP world, so we have no clue how much space Alabasta takes up. Alabasta is way larger than the vast majority of OP islands anyways, which are usually only the size of a small to medium sized city.

And where did I ever state that Blue Planet can’t be larger than Earth? I just oppose the retarded scaling that puts it at star sized, or people acting like every single island is relative to Alabasta in size to come to retarded conclusions like Moria splitting TB in half being a country level feat
