Shanks would one tap Law too

One tap is irrelevant, a random man with a gun can one tap Shanks in theory. What matters is Law would never be in that position due to his brain and fruit's versatility.

Kidd takes 10 minutes charging his piece of shit move, Law uses room in like half a second and those ships are toast if he wants. Shanks would never reach him in time, not that Law would even attack them in the first place, but assuming he did, it's way too easy for him so Oda would have to draw it differently, Shanks can't be on Elbaf while Law has room active, unless he can teleport he not making it in time. Only Kidd is trash enough to allow Shanks enough time to cross that distance before he can even finish shooting. Zoro in that situation could send one instant slash and destroy all those ships as well.

Issue with law and kidd is same as with Kaido and BM or King and queen. Kaido/King have better feats than BM/Queen even though portrayal wise they are meant to be comparable.

Not really. Depends on proficiency of user. If someone like Shanks were to use it. You’d never even get around to using your aoe ability.

FS didn't prevent Luffy from getting blitzed by Kizaru (who we have no proof has it) or only managing to land a clean hit at the very end of his G5 timelimit and then getting food diffed. Post-WCI Oda mostly uses FS when he wants to draw a cool scene, not as the deciding factor in battle. Overall haki strenght is much more important and Loki is matching and tanking Imu's (who has the strongest haki in the verse according to Gaban and Luffy) while Shanks is ~ old cancer whitebeard by feats
