What if the fog in the Florian Triangle, is from the ruins of the island the Ancient Oni there used to live on? Their kingdom sunk during the Void Century, leaving only the fog of Imu behind. Like a Miasma, like the Malice/Gloom from BOTW and TOTK in Zelda.

After their kingdom was destroyed, the Ancient Oni were forced to stay in parts of the ocean that are shallow enough for them to wade it, then learned to swim in the area.

The Ancient Oni stay in the fog of the Florian Triangle to hide themselves and prey on the ships that enter.

I’m confused tho are you saying you think Hiruzen > Minato and Tobirama because of some random throwaway statement in part 1 about Hiruzen being the strongest or sum? That man Hiruzen was buns and this was evidenced by their Edo feats.

Hashirama is obviously the strongest Kage bar Naruto, and Minato and Tobirama have infinitely better showings than Hiruzen ever did. Power levels were clearly retconned in part 2, as in part 1 a battle between 3 hokage could genuinely take place on a tile roof just fine lmfao. People were impressed at Hiruzen using tile shiruken 😂 His summoning is ass, his feats are ass — hell, I wouldn’t even put Hiruzen above Orochimaru let alone Minato.
