It's not about Mbappe (he's likely to play next WC) but it's more about the team.
Mbappe would be there but question is will the management and team to continue building like this would be there as well or not?

I am bit concerned why France is goinn for Zizou. I know he is good Manager but other than Real Madrid he didnt manage any other team. Deschamps worked with Juve, Marseille he had decent foundation but Zidane didnt work from ground up.
I hope it doesn't end up like Alonso situation . I just hope Federation think twice before giving it to him.

Zidane is THE greatest French player ever. The biggest star, the biggest name etc.
Having him as the head coach would be awesome. For the image of the team nationally, for the international image, sponsors etc etc etc. It would be the talk of the town.
And after Deschamps you need someone huge to take the mantle. Deschamps has an amazing record as France coach.
So guys want it to happen, and it will likely happen.
Now about Zizou own capabilities : he did his class, passed his coach exams, coached the young Real Madrid Team, and then coached the Real Madrid.
For a surprisingly great track record : 3 CL ! (One more being assistant) , 2 championship, 2 Espagne cup, supercoupe etc etc.

Ya this is the concern he handled only Real Madrid very unproven outside of that system.
Ya its given he is one of my greatest idol when i started watching game as kid there is no denying he is all time great. I am probably concerned how he might handle the egos in the dressing room lol . Also long gap 5 years in football is too long he might have gone bit rusty.
