Kaido was TRYING to die, and wanted Luffy to beat him, or at least Joy Boy to beat him.

Non-Awakened Kaido was tanking these blows intentionally, and Imu, who has been shown avoiding Loki's attacks, gets hit by Base Luffy.

Only thing keeping Kaido from killing Imu, was demon regeneration BS.

Kaido > Imu in terms of raw power.

Imu's power comes from other Souls, I'm calling it now. Are they strong, yeah. But they need to take to maintain that strength.

Still think there's a chance Imu eats Sommers to get a power up when he starts losing.

Yeah, this probably inevitable at this point. If majority of the crew isn't even stronger than Croco and Lucci from back in the day, there's going to be villains that Zoro and Sanji will never really be above. Probably, King Kuri will be the last Luffy opponent they surpass

I don't imagine Zoro and Sanji will ever be able to do much to Imu, it feels Nikaexclusive.
