Oda is simply lost.
At first characters can die if mortally injured in Domi Reversi. But somehow all giants simply turned back to normal. Yet, that flashback king - yea I don't even know his name - was killed despite being Domi Reversi'ed.
He's making huge mistakes which are not even powerscaling related. He sucks at both powerscaling and story consistency nowadays. This flashback was also ultra unnecessary atp.

As soon as Luffy joins the battle, Loki's hype falls apart.

It's a nonsensical comparison anyway.

Teach was always the guy that gets hit hard and tanks everything, but always wins the fight in the end.

Imu acts like he's some untouchable divine being, yet after all his yapping about being superior, he still got humiliated by base Luffy of all people.

He don't act like some untouchable divine being when he is be blocking and counting attacks.
If anything i would say his regen people act more like that than him .
Since he bothers to block and counter and the we have him crashing out during the fight and letting someone get hit on him.
Then we have him talking again and someone get hit on him lol .
Also people thinking base luffy weak is funny .

The strawhats don't even know Sanji went to save the kids.
The last thing they saw before they abandoned him was Sanji getting blown up in a giant explosion.
If they were still standing around, then the last thing they saw was Killingham standing over a half dead Sanji on the floor.
Even if we assume they were still around after Bonney and Lilith caught him, then they left as he was laying there injured on the floor.

Now they spend 5mins listening to Brooke tell a story and leave the kids to their fate to go melt an ice block.

Unless jinbei totally useless he should be able to sense where sanji went by his haki.
Also do they even know kids need saving again .
