Let's say for argument's sake that Colombia can give a proper fight to Argentina (which I sincerely doubt):
Argentina would still have way fresher legs coming into that match considering their oposition prior to it.
They can roll out their third squad vs Cape Verde. The Egypt tie winner will also take medium effort to knock out.
By that time Colombia would have spent more energy and risked more first team injuries.

I am not impressed by Argentina tbh. Too reliant on Messi so far.
France has more offensive assets, Dembele, Mbappé, Olise, Barcola, Doué, Cherki. They have different qualities that offer some versatility that we don't see a lot in other teams.
I don't think Argentina will struggle against Cape Verde but 3-0 by half time is a bit much.
