As a whole Luffy might struggle to beat a high top tier because of the timelimit, but Imu low diffed Luffy while he was in his strongest form, healthy and food buffed without waiting for the timer to run because he's that strong, this chapter doesn't affect Luffy placement.

Funnily enough the Djinn transformation did help out Luffy. The Stigma flame attached itself to his beard which obviously disappeared when he went back to normal. The attack auto locked on a target that wasn't there anymore.

It's just ridiculous to ignore that fights between top tiers last hours in this series, at the least, and pretend Luffy is going to take out an Admiral in one Gear 5 usage.

People clowned me for making the "Kizaru >>> Luffy" thread before they fought in Egghead, but, man, I'm just reading the manga.

Luffy in Gear 5 has some of the highest attack power in the series, but, he has two problems

1. Cooldowns.
2. His big attacks take a while to hit.

There is NO WAY Imu is going to just stand still and take a Bajrang Gun to the face like Kaido's crazy suicidal drunk ass.

Thing is the fights vs top tiers don't last hours when there real time fights.
Yeah Oda does that shit a lot to hype shit but it be useless.
Don vs luffy was like hour at most same for his other fights .
The real time fights in manga like vs SH or other characters don't take that long .
That why i was happy the rock vs grap and roger fight was not some long out draw shit .
I do agree that luffy has issues with his time limit nonsense but it don't he need to last days with how fights do in arc is be done .

At this point who is not fodder for Imu .
I think we should have know that when we see that joyboy haki on egghead that Imu would be insane.
But you had people thinking he not a fighter or he depends on tricks or he was back stabber etc etc .
It rather clear Imu was fighting people way beyond what we have today and he is nerf .
The man is monster in all stats with a broken DF.
The VC war must make today stuff look like cake walk .

Absolutely.. And Oda made it so that Luffy would be careless, would have to get off that form to not showcase the extent of its power.. It's obvious now after further analysis..

Ohhh.. That's why Luffy didn't stay in Genie form, by switching back it removed the Stigma.. Oda purposely made Luffy be careless to not showcase the extent of his power in that form somehow.. And Imu must have simultaneously sent a Stigma while Luffy attacked and Imu defended..

Yeah, those stigmas lose the lock in such cases, they don't work very well on Luffy. But in cases like Loki, which is a huge mountain and not so fast, they are a nightmare.

But they wouldnt work on Dragon Loki cause he is too big and tough and the damage I suppose wouldnt be so big.

It's really crazy on how Imu countered all Loki forms without much effort and being in a weakened state.

I just wonder how Sabo survived that shit, since Imu was basically full power. lmfao crazy shit.

You can’t beat Gear 5 except you have another version of it to counter it (which Imu has)
I mean you fight against someone who can manifest things + change his surroundings and the properties of his opponent
Luffy needs to lock in, overcome his time limit and bring his haki to the next lvl and he’ll be the strongest character EoS
