The fact that France gave us a good one in the second-half shows they didn't want to lose. They were caught unawares, and probably underestimated us. This does not discount England's victory. Anything else you say is cope.
For a change, I have to agree. I am both England's biggest fan here (perhaps tied by @Jaguark101) but also the harshest critic of our weaknesses. The most beautiful we've looked all tournament. Was a nice way to end things.
Just want to say, don't take my comments about Argentina's extreme physicality as being upset at our loss. It was a legit tactic that paid off. I just hope they do the same to Spain at this point.
If they attempt to clock a player in the back of the head again, I better see no card though, otherwise I might think FIFA has something out for us.

They destroy us. Nobody understands how much pressure the lads are under. We have all the celts (home nations) baying for blood, our media is constantly trying to sow discord for views, and our pundits chat shit and act way too impartial - which is a rarity. It's like everyone is against them. Meanwhile, the English fans can be just as bad. We know teams like Argentina are not a walk in the park, but god forbid we don't win 3-0... and damn them to hell if they lose.
It's a poisoned chalice to wear the England shirt. I am not surprised they buckle.

I watched some highlights, it seems like Bellingham and Vini's football style don't work well with Mbappe. They have established a good chemistry but the arrival of Mbappe disrupted it which affect their attack.
