As a Barca fan i'm worried.

I don’t know if Flick will be able to keep the party animal under control now after this.

Mario Gotze did us a favor in 2014 when he scored that goal in the World Cup final, it meant we got to see Messi keep trying harder over and over again for another 12 years.

If you have it all at the age of 19 it’s hard to maintain that same passion.

Sorry but this narrative doesn’t work after this WC lol

Messi tried harder than anyone on his team and showed more emotion than most youngsters at 39 after he had completed football and was cemented as the goat

You think he wouldn’t try as hard in his prime? The only reason he left to Miami was because his family was having a bad time in Paris and he was already old

His family loved Barcelona and he was 27. No way he doesn’t. This campaign proved his unmatched dedication

But yeah true yamal being a cl away from completing football at 19 is kinda crazy considering his lifestyle

Don’t think he lasts more than 7-8 more years but I hope iM wrong

How can you say he threw his reputation in the trash? He literally carried this team to the finals, without him, Argentina wouldn't get past eight finals lol

He leaves Argentina team as vice champion.
Im talking more about character, i didn’t say he was a bad player at all, you read it the way you wanted
:kobeha:

If Messi had won all those finals (2014, 2015, 2016), we might not have seen him playing at this age.

For now, this is all speculation, no one can know for sure, but we saw what happened with Yamal, he won the Euros & a domestic treble and started partying like crazy.

I am 100% certain that Flick played a decisive role in calming him down.

Now that he won the World Cup too i am curious to see his attitude in the coming seasons.

Reckon he’d wanna win one more WC but actually as a decisive player who’s the best on his team

I wouldn’t say he was mediocre. Far better than that. But nowhere near the bitw level he displayed at club level. Obviously a lot of that is because of injury but I think yamal would wanna run it back as the main man

just wanted to ask in this thread as someone starting to become more interested in watching futbol/soccer post-World Cup, if I decided to root for Manchester City as the first team (because of Haaland), would that make me a bandwagon? 🫣

In NYC, there is NYCFC and NY Red Bulls for MLS but interested in venturing overseas....

@Reborn

how close is Haaland in the conversations?
Mbappé, Rodri, Dembélé, Kvara
Haaland is still on top 10 discussion and he is still young maybe 2 more world cups to go.

Root for who u want bro. A lot of people start of watching the sport cus they fell in love with a player at the wc

Tho i’m kinda salty cus i hate city lol

Eventually it probably will. Whether I'll be alive for that is another issue entirely. How does that have anything to do with this? I have gone on record and complimented the GOAT, but he was apparently a leader of these men - and they were the sorest winners and losers I've ever seen, and him trying to get Cucurella sent off was laughable. Talented, classy with a ball at his feet, and bereft of it outside of that. Pessi.
