Iirc the arguments he used for Shanks > Mihawk were disproved directly by the manga so he accepted Mihawk>Shanks at least for now.

Mystic Gohan is stronger than SSJ3 Goku but EoS Goku kept up with Uub in base who reached Kid Buu's levels of KI. We know KI is the most important thing in DB. It's as basic as powerscaling goes in there. @soupongo just thinks DB scaling could be similar to One Piece or even Naruto and that's why he's thinking extra steps when it's actually that simple.

Anyways, I don’t care for the series anymore so my attachment to Shanks isn’t at a level that it used to be, where I have to blindly wank him. I still like the dude but it’s not at a a level where I’m blind to his flaws and actual powerscaling

The fact I still have him as a fav is moreso a testament to how much indifference I have for the rest of the series than how much I like him cause it’s not a high amount

Shiki was 5 years younger.

Whitebeard was 6 years younger.

Big Mom was 10 years younger.

Kaidou was 19 years younger.

Rayleigh was older than Roger by 1 year. Garp was the same. Rocks was 4 years older than Roger.

Gaban is likely the same age as Rayleigh.

There is a non-dramatical but nevertheless distinct age gap between Roger Pirates, Garp, and Rocks, and the subordinates of the Rock Pirates.

Gaban and Rayleigh were probably considerably stronger than Oden when they met.
