Controversial Average Naruto Ninja vs Average Marines

If were average Gennin vs Average Marine Solder. I'd honestly go with Average Marine Soldier. they are older with more experience and better trained.

Average Ninja are already somewhat superhuman with « magic » techniques and maybe one element release

while the average Marine is just some physically strong dude with a rifle

To me this is what the Average Ninja is in Naruto. No Clan or Secret Techniques. And aren't super human. Even these guys are probably more experienced than most Average Ninjas.

I agree about who is the average Joe

but you don’t need to have clan or secret technique to have water / fire / thunder / earth release and be moderately gifted in those

any chunin/lots of Genin can master some good spells

that would be like having a low level devil fruit in one piece, at least

and I’m not talking about the stealth part etc

I'm more thinking "Can the Average Ninja use Chakra Natures"? Or is that considered to be an Advanced Skill? Plus my also thinking about the Average Captains and Marines in the New World.

I think Captains are excluded from this thread

for me from captain level you are not an average marine soldier anymore

I'm more thinking "Can the Average Ninja use Chakra Natures"? Or is that considered to be an Advanced Skill?

If my memory doesn’t betray me I do think any chunin can use nature release at least for a part

I think Shikamaru said that Chakra Nature is considered a "High Level" technique and was surprised that Naruto was learning it. So if Captain Rank Marines aren't Average I would say Chakra Natures aren't either.

Wasn’t it because Naruto was the worst student ever and him learning something was already huge ?
Honestly you can be right but I feel for strong genin and even more chuunin it’s not that rare

Funny enough even though he was the worst student in his class. Naruto was still above average. Remember he could have graduated 1 year and a half early if he could use the "Regular" Clone Jutsu. But if Captain rank is considered above average than Chakra Natures are probably as well.

Chakra Natures aren’t really expanded upon till Shippuuden tbh. I’m fairly sure Iruka Sensei a Chunin would be able to handle the average Marine mook tho.
