Theory time, low effort and quick mafz... :PepeJoker:

Last two chapters began the era of Sword Piece.
Just when people coped that only Zoro cares about swords and that swords are something nobody gives a crap about, a wild sword supremacy was waiting behind the corner to take the stage. Or in the words of despicable Sommers - these Swords are a Power that rules the World! And the King of the world cares about them.
Each of the Sun God and God of War have tasted some of that Sword Piece and both are currently on a deathbed after brief exposure to lethality...
:pepepopcorn:

Enough bragging about the sword supremacy, we are here because of a theory.
Imu began pulling one sword after another as the time passed and Sommers just now dropped names of two more - Tohu and Muramasa...

However, all those blades we saw until now have one thing in common - they are not Imu's weapon. All of those belong to 19 kings who left them in front of the throne and Imu merely stole them.

That brings us to the main point - which sword is Imu's own? I will take the freedom of saying that each of those 20 swords are signatures of the 20 kings. They are the defining trait of each WG founding king...

My theory here is that we already saw Imu's sword in action, several times but we didn't realise it!
What is Imu's defining trait? His tail!
That's his sword! A living thing, like Shamrock's Cerberus, so to say...

Imu's tail has been the spotlight stealer from the very first action panels of Imu. When Kobra hit the nerve, Imu's tail pierced him right away.
When Sabo was escaping the hell between the clouds, Imu's tailed pierced him.
When Imu encountered Citizen of Hell(funny meme ngl), his tail acted right away.
Tail here, tail there, tail everywhere... :pepeiseeu:

Ever since the fighting started and weapons started taking the spotlight, the tail has been oddly quiet...

I assume, his sword is supreme grade, it would be funny if it wasnt and it has probably 2 defining abilities, at least. It is probably fed a mythical Zoan, some kind of serpent and that's why we see it circling around Imu as if it protecting him and acting as if it was alive. While Imu can manipulate his body, the tail behaves like something that shouldn't be among his freedom of manipulation...
The second ability I suspect is a more interesting one, it has the ability to freeze time! Or to freeze anything in space for a short while.
Obviously, the inspiration for this comes from Foxy's Noro beams, or the vice versa...
And we saw this very thing already in action!
:PepeThink:
When Zoro attacked Imu and was blocked by the tail, what did he do? Nothing! As if he was frozen in time and space... It was odd to me since the first time I saw it, he didnt react, he didnt move, he didnt have facial expressions...

Why do I think that was Imu's sword?
Well, how did Imu encounter the Left wing, the kicker of the Strawhats? With a kick of his own.
Would it be wild if he encountered the Right wing, a swordsman of the Strawhats with a sword of his own?

Does it makes sense that this very ability is the reason why Shanks and Luffy have Future Sight? To counter this exact time/object freezing ability?

Is this a fitting sword for the guy with a 20-sword swallowing style?

Sword piece is definitely a WIN, but how is this relevant to your agenda? Think about it. It’s only of matter to you as a Zoro fan, if this means that Zoro has a new ceiling BUT

Mihawk is certainly no Imu’s tier and is the WSS, so neither has Zoro to be to become WSS?

Which of the following do you believe:

A) Mihawk (WSS) > Imu (sword user)
B) WSS title doesn’t include Imu, thus it doesn’t correlate to Zoro’s EoS level

If it’s A, can you explain in detail why Mihawk > Imu?

If it’s A, can you explain in detail why Mihawk > Imu?
It is simple

If Mihawk is WSS then he beats everyone else in a battle of swords

Imu using swords just establishes a new ceiling for the strongest swordsmen like Ryuma and Mihawk, we know he hasn't attained the pinnacle of swordsmanship because he lacks a Black Blade (unless Nemesis is the Nerona Black Blade)

Zoro's dream is WSS, Imu's existence doesn't change that

Imu is just all round stronger, but he isn't stronger with a sword

Even against Loki he has to use more than just a sword to beat his ass

So guys like Fuji can be above Mihawk and Law above Pinzolo if they're using non swordsmanship techniques? After years of calling @Erkan12 a mad man this is what happens?
Potentially yes, but in reality no

Because being at the pinnicle of swordsmanship is so strong that only the most powerful DF users would be relevant, like Imu, Luffy, Teach, etc.

Erkan is a mad man because he denies haki is packaged with swordsmanship despite haki being used by "pure swordsmen" like Zolo which he will use to become the WSS, Oda made this clear when Zolo coated his swords with CoC

I said that you can't quantify Haki that's related to WGS title.

Because we know for sure, WGS doesn't have the best Haki, WSM does.

So what's the point bringing about Haki to this conversation? Like how you gonna decide what level Haki is needed for WGS?

If 100 level Haki is needed for WSM, what is the Haki level criteria for WGS?

You can surely see it makes no sense to bring Haki to the WGS conversation, the only certain thing about it "sword skill" if you add Haki then the title evolves to WSM not just WGS.

Well to begin with you can't even admit the title is "World's Strongest Swordsman" rather than "World's Greatest Swordsman"

Obviously if the title was just "World's Greatest Swordsman" you can say it just involves sword skill and not overall power as a swordsman

It's the same 1 title with different names. There aren't 2 different titles. And even if we go with your title, it's still WSM title > your sword title. The title is about the swordsmanship, nothing else. It's a proficiency like being the greatest marksman.

So, in your mind, how you quantify the Haki level of your sword title exactly? Because as I said, it's pointless to bring Haki to this, as the sword title holder will never have the best Haki, if he has the best Haki then the title evolves to WSM title.

The haki level has to be high enough to be the strongest among swordsmen, being able to beat all other swordsmen in battle where haki is involved

If Zoro can beat Mihawk with the Dragon Damnation that he used to beat King, a CoC sword attack, then he's the strongest

Also WSM isn't about just haki level, it's also DF powers and other abilities

If WB didn't exist, then Roger with no DF would be the WSM. Shiki literally says this. Kaido also points out Roger's Haki made him top level.

If BB didn't exist right now, then Shanks would probably be the WSM.

WSM need the best stats, especially Haki is essential just like Kaido said, DF power is secondary boost just like special sword boost.

Well yeah because Roger's Haki was just that strong, obviously WB's Haki wasn't on that level otherwise he would be stronger than Roger

In Roger's case, yes Haki alone elevated him to that level

But for WB, Haki alone did not, he needed the Gura

Base Kaido is also a scrub compared to Hybrid Kaido or Flaming Bagua Kaido, so DF powers are VERY important if you're not Roger
