Basically One Piece Biggest Weak points, Tension, Steaks, Tone, Sense of Urgency, Sense of Danger. These things have all returned upon IMU’s Presence. I honestly don’t know. What Oda will do here. How is IMU going to be dealt with before killing everyone else? I’m interested to see what Oda does here.

You know guys for a long time Luffy hasn’t felt like a character you can root for or relate to. The laughing has been annoying , the lack of seriousness has killed tension, The Lack of humbleness in the character has made him unbearable. Finally after so many years Luffy is getting a reality check, Finally Luffy has his back against the wall against a villain who’s relentless. Thank You Oda For Making The MC Likable Again.

I have a theory that Oda will change it cause the Japanese fans were mad because of Luffy's lack of seriousness after the looney tooneys bullshit.

I really want the "real" fight to start between Luffy and Imu. I know Oda wants to raise the stakes, but I still feel like we're not fully in gear yet *pun intended*.

Go back to Wano and look at structure. When Zoro and Sanji started fighting thats when Luffy is getting back up to roof to fight Kaido. Also the volume ends in like 1 or 2 chaos after this. So next volume is Zoro and Sanji winning their fights and then Luffy and Loki end fight.

Akainu Had 0 Backstory in Marineford , But Still Put the Fear of God in Marineford Watchers/Readers. You were worried everytime that man was on screen. We didn’t know shit about Akainu back then. Every Villain doesn’t need a Great Backstory or Character Motivation.
