That thing he fires this chapter is more of Haki lightning beam than a laser like kizarus i think the OP calls it haki laser because of the meme, a laser is light like you said, a beam can be any kind of energy

Whatever it is im not even sure its even a direct attack, every attack so far of gaban was laser focused on imu, while the lightning beams he shoot out were randomly hitting everywhere no where near imu and cutting up the tree despite imu being stationary there, and gaban litterarly told us he didnt even wanted to damage the tree so it might just be a legit charge up move that also has innate qualities


Aces Dai Enkan also works like that for example being a prep a move more than a attack on its own

I don't think that kind of attack will have much difference since normal concasse is on par with its damage.

It would be OP for sanji. Huge aoe attacks coated with ACOC. Like kamusari.

To be fair Gaban unleashing lightning directly kind of suggests Sanji doesn't really need a long-range attack since he can simply get the same thing down the line (not like a blade is needed when it's lightning that's flying in a given direction).

I think Imu's kicks give a glimpse of what Sanji should be able to do and if Garp can produce shockwaves with fists, Sanji doing it with kicks is possible. I just can't imagine Sanji with lasers but rankyaku, shockwaves, what Gaban showed, any of those but lasers seem a bit too far from Sanji's style.
