I can tolerate Imu showing another form if it against power-upped Luffy + hybrid Loki as long he roflstomps them just after.

Tbh, with the way how Imu was written before he personally went to Elbaf, I was expecting him to destroy everything while showing little of his powers and threaten to destroy entire Elbaf since he seems to be one of the original gods but okay, my expectations were clearly too high.

Something along the line of when it comes down to it, Oda will favor narrative over consistent powerscaling.

Hajrudin had formed a wish to avenge his father and take down Imu the chapter prior to this one. So Oda was building up to him doing something relevant against Imu.

We're officially beginning to enter comic book levels of powerscaling complete with insane powercreep and characters being as strong as the plot requires them to be.

Hajrudin's Haki Bloom what's the problem with that.. It did nothing to Imu, it was just visually dramatic..

I think if Imus fruit is like Luffys then he has multiple forms akin to the gears.

Ain't gonna lie I think your onto something. It probably is just a direct reference to Luffys gears just "bad"

Although Makes me wonder if kaido could've had something similar to controllable gears if he wasn't such an emotional (drunken) wreck.

Ik I'm reaching but it would be a cool concept if peoples emotions could effect their transformations and people with more control over their Devil Fruit could tap into that emotion to get specific stat buffs.

eg, anger - gives Luffy fire, kaido got bigger, imu became more demon like
Scared - improves speed (luffys roadrunner legs)

Unless you believe Shs will lose in Elbaph, IMu getting send back to MJ is the most likely outcome.

And as usual it would be Luffy. Either another transformation or CoC upgrade but he would be the one.

When I brought Acnologia and Zeref into this conversation, two users were already triggered about the comparison and really tried to tell me it's equally as bad to be beaten by an asspull finisher from the EOS protagonist in comparison to being tossed around by a G2 victim who ALREADY got KOED by a basic ass Omen explosion from a weaker Imu. I thought Acnologia being pushed away by Ichiya's ship was already bad but this is even worse lol.

Normally, I'd simply use Hajrudin for agenda purposes but this is even too stupid for me...

Well Luffy and Loki have god fruits and while Gaban is not the strongest old legend he's not that far off from the level peak human can reach.
It's really Hajrudin the issue here, especially after how easily Imu bodied the wings in a weaker form.

I think it’s going to be a combo of Luffy and co holding him off + his body getting nerfed over time (he’s bleeding internally hence coughing up blood from time to time) + the toll of losing his HKs on Elbaph.

Oh yes, Hajrudin actually has the balls to face Imu, while Dora the Explorer saw the story and nope'd out of the confrontation and put the responsibilities onto Luffy. Is this the Roger supremacy you wanna talk about? One of his equals pulled his finisher in old age and got crippled in result.
