Are you serious Yasheen? Why are we retconing characters introduced in the Post Timeskip?
Not even a mention of “Hajrudin has been training “ “Hajrudin has gotten stronger “ It’s just egregious and Shameless Honestly…..Hajrudin was literally pushed to the brink in Dressrosa, we saw his limit…..it’s not like he was holding back , bro got defeated and went extreme diff with a Doffy underling. His growth needs to be explained you can’t just randomly make the character stronger it’s disrespectful to the readers.
I’m sorry but ITS TOO MUCH!!!

Dude he’s able to send thousands of tons flying with a single punch. Why we acting like him sending Imu flying and not doing any damage is some huge plot hole…

Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
I think we can argue whether having rape scenes were really necessary or narrative requirements or miura own fetish but thing is it was indeed deliberate and well thought decision by miura.

It was calculated decision. Bersek was seinen and was meant to target primarily adult men. Sexual violence was used to build dark psychological narrative for this purpose.

We can question the decision but Bersek indeed ended up being one of the influential manga. Miura was really popular in Japan

Oda decided to show Imu's 2nd form, only to make him job against Bumjrudin. I still can't cope with it. 😭
The thing is this is the usual Worf Effect bs. You're supposed to see Haj as strong not Imu as weak.

Problem is for Worf Effect to work, the Worf needs to shine first and the whole thing needs to be believable.

Here it kinda sucks because Imu didn't get to showcase Form 2, and Haj hasn't undergone any powerups that are mentioned onscreen since DR.

So we are forced to reconcile it all by considering Imu's time limit and Haj being amped by resolve which may be true but aren't really mentioned.

Some of it did impact the plot and did it very well (i.e Guts' backstory), but the problem is so much of it was just pointless and only there because Miura wasn't innovative enough to think of an actually good story
