My wildest opinion is that EOS/Final War Buggy will surpass everyone else in Cross Guild. There's a reason he keeps getting put next to Luffy, Teach, and Shanks.

I was always waiting for Buggy to finally stop running from his past, and embrace it, and he did so in 1082 when he challenged Crocodile and Mihawk to go for the One Piece.

I've always maintained Buggy IS strong, he's getting in his own way. His complex over Shanks being better than him, and probably Roger liking Shanks more/viewing Shanks as his protege, has just always kept Buggy from putting his best foot forward.

Shanks deciding to go for the One Piece finally triggered Buggy's competitive spirit, and, it fits. Out of everyone we've seen in the series, the one guy who can really motivate Buggy to do shit IS Shanks.

Still waiting for the reveal Buggy is also Rocks' son, shit's going to be wild.

So it could be the exact same fight where Luffy will become PK and Zolo will become WGS.

Mihawk will be the obstacle in front of the one piece. Zoro must defeat him right then and there to make luffy Pk.
