Luffy wanting to fight to the death for Elbaph is fine, but then fight to the death and stop relying on destiny to save your ass.
Also rich for Usopp to be flapping is gums when he has absolutely no power to move the needle. "Take down anyone who holds back Luffy's freedom" lol. Square up with Imu then broski
Whole Usopp line just really annoys me personally. Feels like we went backwards when we should've been going forwards.
I have no faith in Luffy changing if Oda's going out of his way to shoehorn Usopp with this fuckery here now at this timing but we shall see.

We’ll see how Luffy handles it next time he gets knocked down by Imu. (Let’s be honest it will happen again).
To me the Usopp line just confirms Imu is going to fall here in Elbaf to Luffy and Loki as Luffy rejects the destiny that he was being groomed for, shocking but I wouldn’t call it a step backwards imo. We’ll have to see how it develops

Because he was never the final villain people expected him to be, just like he was never the god tier people wanted him to be.
EoS level threat still exists but it was never the way people imagined it.
World government has never been a single powerhouse but many of them, the strongest organisation in the world, in case people still havent understood why Luffy's greatest power is - turning nearly everyone into allies.
We still don’t know what conclusion the Roger pirates made when they decided not to fight Imu or why all these specific occurrences (Shirahoshi, Pluton, Nika, Galleila) are all necessary. At first people assumed it was because Imu was just that powerful, but at this time he seems like the strongest in the verse but not to the extent that Madara was compared to the Kage.
