How come Enma didn’t do any of this For Oden?

Enma was fine and not behaving like it did with King for days.
Even when fighting Kaido, the blade wasn't acting up.
We just simply didn't see it happen with Oden. Also, Zoro concluded that his strength was lacking which means Oden was straight up stronger than Zoro at any point we saw him in the flashback.

Enma wasn’t continuously draining Zoro during that initial slash. It drained his right arm dry and then Zoro stopped it before it could drain more.

This is different to in Onigashima when Zoro let Enma continuously drain him, finally pulling out his CoC in the process.

Enma drains the haki, Zoro then flows the haki to all three swords so that he doesn’t get drained out of just one arm again.
