What difficulty will Zoro v. SSJ2 Sommers be?

Sanji hasn't unlocked CoC either, yet Gaban felt his ambition and advised him on how to unleash it. Mihawk for 2 years hasn't even told Zoro once that he has the ambition, he has to unleash it and that CoC is needed to be the strongest swordsman in the world, unlike CoA where Mihawk said it's essential.

Now don't get me wrong, I already told you ACoC is part of a top tier swordsman's tool kit, but the conclusion isn't that WSS = the guy with the stronger CoC regardless of fighting style.

I don't get why people think it was a gotcha that Mihawk randomly noted that CoC is a thing.

Sanji will unlock CoC one hour after Gaban told him how to do it and goes straight into ACoC, while Mihawk didn't manage to tell Zoro so during a 2 year period.

Because Zoro is, in some ways, very stupid. Mihawk, Sanji, Luffy, Rayleigh, Gaban - more than enough people have pointed out that he has muscles for brains.

Therefore all the more surprising when Zoro sometimes comes up with brilliant plans or deductions.

Zoro is more like Kidd than Law or Killer who genuinely are smart guys.

Pinzoro is a contender for the worst iq and battle iq in the series, bro was told by 3 people he has CoC and is still clueless without about it.

I doubt he wouldve defeated king without enma back in wano :Varys_Choke:

Mihawk literally told Zoro how important CoC is, that it can’t be acquired through training and specifically told him to remember that lesson.
All of that obviously implies he saw the potential in Zoro to awaken CoC. It’s not rocket science.

Sanji’s case is different. Gaban said he saw the potential for CoC in him but that his self-doubt/lack of confidence in himself is what’s preventing him from awakening it.

Zoro didn’t have some inferiority complex he needed to overcome in order to awaken CoC in Wano so Mihawk didn’t need to give him any extra advice on that front.

At this point, I hope and expect Shiryu to have ACoC. Mihawk is further highlighting that CoC distinguishes the strong from the weak and Zoro will beat Sommers will his, no need for yet another opponent who can't use it before Mihawk. Would also act as further Blackbeard hype, same for if Sanji's Blackbeard opponent has it too.

I hope Sommers can do something of note next chapter before dying. Killingham has a chance to look good against Sanji so I hope we see Longinus' power.

I dont think we should expect aCoC on any BBPs, including Blackbeard.
Their nindo is purely DF merchant, I am sure Shiryu and Blackbeard will end up with perhaps 3 DFs each, maybe 2 for Shiryu but 3rd is possible as well. While concentrated COC burst can negate DF effects, I think it will be very rarely used in an actual fight so Shiryu and Blackbeard are safe from that even if Luffy and Zoro end up learning those...

Blackbeard already has the ability to nullify 99% of Luffy's skillset. All Shiryu needs is to avoid Zoro's firepower and Suke no Mi's awakening will likely take care of that. If both BB and Shiryu end up how I imagine they will, giving them aCoC wont really change anything. Offensively, Blackbeard already wields one of the most powerful abilities, there aint really any need to buff it with aCoC, if it even can be used on intangible things like vibrations... Shiryu will end up with overwhelming sword style, if he gets Orochi for Raiu and aCoC doesnt make it more overwhelming. Stronger attacks arent needed if they are already overwhelming the defense.

Unconscious = doing it while knocked out (like when Kaido commented on Luffy doing it after he greeted him with his first thunder bagua)

Hmm, i don't know whenever it's mentioned in the manga, they use Unconscious, '' Muishiki '' as in not aware..
