Can he apply for a Saudi citizenship? They have a very high chance of qualifying for the next WC.
He should buy an island. Establish a new country and give citizenship to his brainwashed fans who has been glazing his mediocre play from past 7-8 years

Form a team out of them and play every minute as long as he's alive.:kayneshrug:

Arsenal fans are the very same people who, ten years ago, insisted that tradition mattered more than City's money—yet now they’re crying about how our trophies were stolen. Yes, City committed violations, but the football they played was a thousand times better than that of the other Premier League teams.
They were the best team in EPL in the past 15 years. They dominated it - tactically and performance wise.

Buying big names doesn't guarantee success *cough Real Madrid "

So entire argument that ManC won because of breaking financial regulations and should be stripped of the titles is stupid.

They are too big to be dropped out of the league as well. EPL would be stupid to even consider this.

Massive fines, points deductions and some transfer window restrictions would do.

It's a competition where elite European teams are competing, it's something
Zizou used France's 2nd team at the last match.
Lot of players faking injuries to not lose their season.

Let's be real, if Cristiano had never won it no one would care about it.
Most people watch it to see Cristiano and nowadays Yamal and Mbappe.

We didn't even know it when Spain/France won it.

Arsenal fans are going too far; as supporters of a team that played "Haram-ball" during their peak years, they really shouldn't be commenting on City's style of play.
City will likely face the same fate as Juventus.
The idea of stripping them of the title and awarding it to the runner-up is absurd. Consider a scenario where the third-placed team lost twice to City, while the runner-up either won both matches or drew them; this would create complications in the points tally. There is no foolproof logic to justify such a move, and other teams might well lodge protests.
As for the Champions League, any team eliminated by City could claim that they deserved to win the title that year.

The Euros certainly carry more prestige.
The Nations League was created to replace friendlies, and only Ronaldo's fans care about it.
In the previous tournament, even though Portugal won the title and Ronaldo was the top scorer, it was Nuno Mendes's brilliant performance against Germany and Spain that paved the way for their victory.

It's still arguably top 3/4 cup of international football

Perez detests Cristiano even more than Laporta detests Messi.
These individuals are executives and showmen; winning their next election depends on this, and the event serves as free publicity that boosts their popularity among fans. Given Madrid's current situation, there is no doubt they will face a barrage of criticism in a few months, and staging this match is the best way to handle it.

To be honest, as someone who has been a fan of Messi for over 20 years, I feel bad about what happened to Ronaldo.
I hope Madrid or Portugal organizes a grand farewell match for him—one last time.
Madrid won't give any farewell to Ronaldo. Madrid doesn't share same bond with Ronaldo as Barca does with Messi.

Portugual might give it in future and he deserves so but most of the stuffs that has happened to him in the past 5/6 years is due to his own attitude and ego. Having that said, even his own fans are tired of defending him. They just want him to retire with grace without tarnishing his legacy anymore

Fatman said they would organize a farewell match for Messi when Camp Nou is ready in 2028, but i don't believe him.

I doubt Cristiano will even visit the Bernabeu to watch a match in the next 10 years let alone for a farewell game.

Leao given Portugal's number 7 shirt :risiflip:
Well that's kind of disrespectful.

Argentina refused to give anyone Number 10 until Messi's farewell.

Infact, they should retire Number 10 and Number 7 like it happened in the case of Sachin who used to wear 10 for Indian Cricket Team but that jersey number got retired along with him.
